Italian Language Scholarship

Eligibility: Individuals of Italian descentin their junior or senior year of undergraduate study for the Fall 2023 term, majoring or minoring in Italian language studies at an accredited academic institution, and individuals pursuing a Master’s in Italian language studies or Italian American studies.

U.S. citizens and Green Card holders. 

Deadline: March 5, 2023

Application & Requirements:

  1. Online Application 
  2. Official Transcripts: Submit one official transcript from each academic institution attended through Dec. 2022.
  3. Test Scores: Submit copies of official results from all standardized tests (ACT, SAT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, etc.) taken during the past 5 years.
  4. Resume: Submit a current resume outlining extracurricular activities, work experience, volunteer service and honors, especially as they relate to Italian language, culture and heritage.
  5. Letters of Recommendation:  Submit the names and email addresses of 2 references (teachers, professors or educational administrators) who can provide a letter of recommendation.
  6. Essay: Submit an original essay of 500-750 words in Italian on why learning Italian is important in today’s world and how you plan to use your Italian language degree.
  7. Processing Fee ($35)
